Shipping & Delivery Policy
We supply services, not goods — so this covers how and when completed work reaches you, and what happens if it is late.
Last updated: 8 September 2026
What we deliver
Blutrain Private Limited supplies professional engineering services. Nothing we sell is a physical good, so there is no despatch, courier or freight involved and no shipping charge is ever applied to an invoice.
"Delivery" means the transfer of completed work into your possession. Depending on the engagement that is one or more of:
- Source code and configuration — committed to a repository in your organisation, which you control.
- Deployed systems — running in your cloud account or on your own hardware.
- Documents — written assessments, architecture and decision records, runbooks and evaluation reports, delivered as files to your nominated contacts.
- Trained models and evaluation datasets — placed in your storage.
- Knowledge transfer — recorded working sessions with the team who will operate the system.
How and when
Everything is delivered electronically. There is no physical shipment and therefore no tracking number, delivery partner or address dependency.
| Engagement | Delivered | Typical timeline |
|---|---|---|
| Diagnostic | Written assessment, by email to your nominated contacts | 2–3 weeks from start |
| Fixed-scope build | Continuously to your repository; deployed at each phase end | Per the phase schedule in your statement of work |
| Hourly / retained work | Continuously to your repository, with a weekly written report | Ongoing |
Access is granted as soon as work begins, not withheld until final payment. You can see work in progress throughout.
When the clock starts
A delivery timeline begins on the later of: the date the statement of work is signed, the date any agreed advance is received, and the date we are granted the access the work requires — repositories, data, systems and the people who understand the process.
Where access is delayed, the delivery date moves by the same period. We raise this in writing at the time rather than reporting it at the end.
Confirmation and acceptance
Each delivery is confirmed in writing to your nominated contacts, listing what was delivered and where it can be found.
You have 15 working days from that confirmation to raise anything that does not meet the acceptance criteria in the statement of work. If nothing is raised in that period, the delivery is treated as accepted. Raising an issue is straightforward and we would far rather hear about it than not.
If a delivery is late or incomplete
Tell us immediately — sales@theblutrain.com or +91 95010 19942. We acknowledge within two working days with a status and a revised date.
Where the delay is ours and material, you may exit at the phase boundary without penalty under the Refund & Cancellation Policy, and you keep everything produced up to that point.
Where a deliverable does not meet the agreed acceptance criteria, we correct it at our own cost. That is the first remedy and it resolves almost every case.
International clients
Because delivery is electronic, we work with clients outside India on the same terms and timelines. There are no customs, duties, import charges or geographic restrictions.
Where an engagement involves personal data crossing borders, residency and transfer requirements are agreed during scoping and recorded in the data processing agreement — see the Privacy Policy.
